NUVE ColorJoy is awesome. Both my toddler and I love using them because the colors are vibrant and they draw incredibly smoothly. They glide easily across paper and other surfaces, and they even show up well on cardboard. The hard outer barrel helps prevent breakage, which is a huge advantage when little hands are involved. I also love the twist-up design since it keeps the crayons protected and allows you to use every bit without constantly peeling paper wrappers. My only complaint is that the color can smudge if you apply pressure or rub over it after drawing.
